Martin Katz

Design direction & private commissions

Martin Katz leads the creative development of ANTONINA’s bespoke commissions. His role begins with understanding the client’s brief and translating it into a coherent design direction, considering silhouette, colour, proportion and the relationship between a gemstone and its setting.

He works with gemstone procurement and the workshop to refine concepts, review design options and maintain the intended character of each piece as it moves from an idea to an approved specification.

Gemstone selection & sourcing

Joanna Hardy oversees gemstone selection and procurement for ANTONINA’s private commissions. She coordinates the search for stones appropriate to the design brief, considering colour, cut, proportions, durability and the client’s priorities.

Her responsibilities include reviewing available gemstone documentation, communicating relevant treatment and origin information, and working with the designer and workshop to assess suitability before a stone is approved for a commission.

Philippe Lauras

Technical development & making

Philippe Lauras oversees the technical development and making of ANTONINA’s bespoke jewelry. He translates the approved design into a practical making plan, coordinating construction, setting and finishing with the craftspeople involved.

His responsibilities include assessing technical feasibility, reviewing proportions and comfort, managing production stages and overseeing the finished piece against the agreed design and specification.
